Course Description

This course is suitable for learners who have developed the necessary steps and knowledge to progress to an advanced level.

Throughout this course, you will learn Ballroom and Latin American dances including Waltz; Foxtrot; Quickstep; Tango; Cha Cha; Samba; Rumba, and Jive.

• A dance partner is required for this course.

Aims and Objectives

• Gain further confidence in Ballroom and Latin American dancing
• Improve styling in each dance and make progress at an advanced level
• Continue to learn about the origins of each dance and the music, counting in beats according to the time signature of the dance
• Improve fitness

Materials / Equipment required for First Class

• Please bring shoes with a back to support the heel – no trainers as these are too grippy
• Bottle of water and comfortable clothes
